Discovery HIke: Spring Beauties

Maple trees, in addition to being beautiful, give us lots of edible goodies. But how can a tree be a treat? Learn about the process of "sugaring," how to identify the official tree of New York State, try out your new maple sugaring knowledge on a tree stump, and taste some maple treats! Weather-permitting.  This program will include a walk through the trails of the central Greenbelt. Program fee: $5 for Greenbelt Conservancy members, and $7 for non-members.  Go here to learn how you can become a member.
